A distributed editorial and production team

Euro News Agency brings together journalism, production, analysis and digital workflows around a shared editorial process. Roles differ by assignment: some projects are led by a field reporter, others by a producer or analyst, and documentary work can require several disciplines to move from research to filming and final delivery.

The team is coordinated from London while assignments can take place internationally. Editorial responsibility remains defined even when contributors work remotely or on a project basis. Reporting, footage and analysis are reviewed against the same standards for sourcing, accuracy, corrections and disclosure before publication or delivery.

Specialist roles support different parts of the workflow: project coordination keeps briefs, access and deadlines aligned; analysts add sector knowledge where a story requires it; digital production turns field material into formats suitable for broadcast, documentary and social platforms; and AI-assisted workflows are used as production support rather than as a substitute for reporting or verification.

Freelance correspondents, camera operators and specialists may also be commissioned when a project requires local access, language expertise or subject knowledge. For collaboration enquiries, use the contact page with a concise description of experience, location and availability.

How responsibilities are assigned

The person closest to the evidence leads the relevant part of the work. A field reporter is responsible for what was observed and sourced on location; a specialist analyst is responsible for the sector context they contribute; a producer is responsible for production continuity and delivery; and the editorial lead is responsible for the final standard applied to publication. This separation makes review clearer and reduces the risk of one role silently substituting for another.

For international assignments, contributors can be added when local knowledge, language or access materially improves the reporting. Their contribution is integrated into the same editorial workflow rather than treated as an unverified external input. The objective is a flexible team structure without lowering accountability for what is ultimately published under the Euro News Agency name.
